# §1.1005. Display of currently valid control number under the Paperwork Reduction Act.

- (a) Pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 ([44 U.S.C. 3501](/usc/44/3501.md) et seq.), the collection of information in this subpart has been reviewed and approved by the Office of Management and Budget under control number 0651-0075.
- (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person is required to respond to nor shall a person be subject to a penalty for failure to comply with a collection of information subject to the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act unless that collection of information displays a currently valid Office of Management and Budget control number. This section constitutes the display required by 44 U.S.C. [3512(a)](/usc/44/3512.md?p=a) and [5](/usc/44/5.md) CFR 1320.5(b)(2)(i) for the collection of information under Office of Management and Budget control number 0651-0075 (see [5 CFR 1320.5(b)(2)(ii)(D)](/cfr/5/1320.5.md?p=b-2-ii-D)).
