# §9.32. What authorization do I need to conduct operations?

- (a) Except as provided in [§§ 9.70 through 9.73](/cfr/36/9.70..9.73.md), you must obtain a temporary access permit under [§§ 9.60 through 9.63](/cfr/36/9.60..9.63.md) or an operations permit under [§§ 9.80 through 9.90](/cfr/36/9.80..9.90.md) before conducting operations.
- (b) You must demonstrate that you have the right to operate in order to conduct activities within a System unit.
