# §51.49. May the Director grant a right of preference except in accordance with this part?


The Director may not grant a concessioner or any other person a right of preference or any other form of entitlement of any nature to a new concession contract, except in accordance with this part or in accordance with [36 CFR part 13](/cfr/36/part13.md).
