# §3.16. May I swim or wade in park waters?


Swimming or wading is allowed in waters, subject to closures or restrictions designated by the superintendent in accordance with §§ [1.5](/cfr/36/1.5.md) and [1.7](/cfr/36/1.7.md) of this chapter.
