# §291.19. Suspension and revocation of permits.

- (a) The Authorized Officer may suspend or revoke a permit issued under this section;
  - (1) For resource, safety or other management considerations; or
  - (2) **When there is a violation of term or condition of a permit issued under this section.**
- (b) The permit shall be revoked if any person working under the authority of the permit is convicted of a violation under section [16 U.S.C. 470aaa](/usc/16/470aaa.md) 6306 or is assessed a civil penalty under [16 U.S.C. 470aaa](/usc/16/470aaa.md) 6307.
- (c) Suspensions, modifications, and revocations shall be administered in accordance with the procedures set forth in [36 CFR part 214](/cfr/36/part214.md).
