# §222.20. Decisions subject to mediation.


The holder of a term grazing permit issued in a State with a mediation program certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture may request mediation of a dispute relating to a decision to suspend or cancel the permit as authorized by 36 CFR [222.4(a)(2)(i)](/cfr/36/222.4.md?p=a-2-i), [(ii)](/cfr/36/222.4.md?p=a-2-ii), [(iv)](/cfr/36/222.4.md?p=a-2-iv), and [(v)](/cfr/36/222.4.md?p=a-2-v) and [(a)(3) through (6)](/cfr/36/222.4.md?p=a-a-3..a-a-6). Any request for mediation must be included in an appeal of the decision to suspend or cancel the permit filed in accordance with [36 CFR part 214](/cfr/36/part214.md).
