# §1250.24. Does NARA accept electronic FOIA requests?


Yes. You may submit and track requests for NARA operational records through the FOIAonline program, accessible at https://foiaonline.regulations.gov, or by sending an email to FOIA@nara.gov. The body of the message must contain all of the information listed in [36 CFR 1250.20](/cfr/36/1250.20.md). You may also file a FOIA request by emailing your request to the offices listed in the table at [36 CFR 1250.22](/cfr/36/1250.22.md).
