# §1151.2. Authority.


The Board is the governing body of the agency. The Board shall have the authority and responsibilities as set forth in section 502 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 ([29 U.S.C. 792](/usc/29/792.md)); [section 504](/cfr/36/504.md) of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ([42 U.S.C. 12204](/usc/42/12204.md)); and section 225(e) of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 ([47 U.S.C. 255(e)](/usc/47/255.md?p=e)).
