# §1001.3. Penalties.


A person convicted of violating a provision of the regulations contained in Parts [1001](/cfr/36/part1001.md), [1002](/cfr/36/part1002.md), 1004 and 1005 of this chapter, within the area administered by the Presidio Trust, shall be punished by a fine as provided by law, or by imprisonment not exceeding 6 months, or both, and shall be adjudged to pay all costs of the proceedings.
