# §75.230. How the Department makes a grant.

- (a) If the Secretary selects an application under [§ 75.217](/cfr/34/75.217.md), [§ 75.220](/cfr/34/75.220.md), or [§ 75.222](/cfr/34/75.222.md), the Secretary follows the procedures in [§§ 75.231 through 75.236](/cfr/34/75.231..75.236.md) to set the amount and determine the conditions of a grant. [Sections 75.235 through 75.236](/cfr/34/75.235..75.236.md) also apply to grants under formula grant programs. (See [§ 75.200](/cfr/34/75.200.md) for more information.)
