# §75.158. Deadlines for State comments.

- (a) The Secretary may establish a deadline date for receipt of State comments on applications.
- (b) The State shall make its comments in a written statement signed by an appropriate State official.
- (c) The appropriate State official shall submit comments to the Secretary by the deadline date for State comments. The procedures in [§ 75.102(d)](/cfr/34/75.102.md?p=d) (how to meet a deadline) of this part apply to this submission.
