# §300.609. Rule of construction.


Nothing in this subpart shall be construed to restrict the Secretary from utilizing any authority under GEPA, including the provisions in 34 CFR parts [76](/cfr/34/part76.md), [77](/cfr/34/part77.md), and 81 and [2 CFR part 200](/cfr/2/part200.md) to monitor and enforce the requirements of the Act, including the imposition of special or high-risk conditions under 2 CFR [200.207](/cfr/2/200.207.md) and [3474.10](/cfr/2/3474.10.md).
