# §206.1. What are the special educational programs for students whose families are engaged in migrant and other seasonal farmwork?

- (a) **High School Equivalency Program.** The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) is designed to assist persons who are eligible under [§ 206.3](/cfr/34/206.3.md)—to obtain the equivalent of a secondary school diploma and subsequently to gain employment or be placed in an institution of higher education (IHE) or other postsecondary education or training.
- (b) **College Assistance Migrant Program.** The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is designed to assist persons who are eligible under [§ 206.3](/cfr/34/206.3.md)—who are enrolled or are admitted for enrollment on a full-time basis in the first academic year at an IHE.
