# §335.5. Applicable laws.

- (a) The Clean Water Act ([33 U.S.C. 1251](/usc/33/1251.md) et seq.) (also known as the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, 1977, and 1987).
- (b) The Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act of 1972 ([33 U.S.C. 1401](/usc/33/1401.md) et seq.) (commonly referred to as the Ocean Dumping Act (ODA)).
