# §179.17. Penalties.


Each manufacturer who fails to comply with a provision of [46 U.S.C. 4310](/usc/46/4310.md) or the regulations in this part, is subject to the penalties as prescribed in [46 U.S.C. 4311](/usc/46/4311.md).
