# §167.1310. In the Strait of Juan de Fuca: General.


The traffic separation scheme in the Strait of Juan de Fuca consists of five parts: the western lanes, southern lanes, northern lanes, eastern lanes, and precautionary area “PA.” These parts are described in [§§ 167.1311 through 167.1315](/cfr/33/167.1311..167.1315.md). The geographic coordinates in [§§ 167.1311 through 167.1315](/cfr/33/167.1311..167.1315.md) are defined using North American Datum (NAD 83).
