# §165.1107. San Diego Bay, California.

- (a) **Location.** The area encompassed by the following geographic coordinates is a regulated navigation area:

  Datum: NAD 1983.

- (b) **Regulations.**
  - (1) During submarine docking/undocking operations at the U.S. Naval Submarine Base on Ballast Point, San Diego Bay, California, mariners transiting within the regulated navigation area shall proceed at a speed that generates no wake from their vessel.
  - (2) The Coast Guard will issue a Broadcast Notice to Mariners, and if time permits a Local Notice to Mariners, to inform the maritime community of the dates and times of the submarine docking/undocking operations covered by [paragraph (b)(1)](#b-1).
  - (3) The master and/or operator of a vessel within the regulated navigation area shall comply with any other orders or directions issued by the Coast Guard as required for the safety of the submarine docking/undocking operations covered by [paragraph (b)(1)](#b-1).
