# §157.31. Discharges: Chemical additives.


No person may use a chemical additive to circumvent the discharge requirements in §§ [157.27](/cfr/33/157.27.md), [157.29](/cfr/33/157.29.md), [157.37](/cfr/33/157.37.md), [157.39](/cfr/33/157.39.md), and [157.43](/cfr/33/157.43.md).
