# §151.2000. Purpose and scope.


This subpart implements the provisions of the Nonindigenous Aquatic Nuisance Prevention and Control Act of 1990 ([16 U.S.C. 4701-4751](/usc/16/4701-4751.md)), as amended by the National Invasive Species Act of 1996.
