# §127.101. Design and construction: General.


The marine transfer area for LNG must meet the following criteria in NFPA 59A (incorporated by reference, see [§ 127.003](/cfr/33/127.003.md)):

- (a) Chapter 5, [Section 5.3.1.7](/cfr/33/5.3.1.7.md);
- (b) Chapter 6, [Section 6.7](/cfr/33/6.7.md);
- (c) Chapter 10;
- (d) Chapter 11, except Sections [11.9](/cfr/33/11.9.md), and [11.10](/cfr/33/11.10.md);
- (e) Chapter 12;
- (f) Chapter 15, except Sections [15.4](/cfr/33/15.4.md) and [15.6](/cfr/33/15.6.md); and
- (g) **Annex B.**
