# §69.1. Purpose.


This part prescribes policies and procedures for the establishment and operation of elected School Boards for schools operated by the Department of Defense (DoD) under 10 U.S.C. [2164](/usc/10/2164.md), [32](/usc/10/32.md) CFR [part 345](/cfr/32/part345.md), and Public Law 92-463.
