# §536.125. Statutory authority for Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Claims.


The authority for this subpart is Article 139, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) ([10 U.S.C. 939](/usc/10/939.md), which provides redress for property willfully damaged or destroyed, or wrongfully taken, by members of the Armed Forces of the United States.
