# §34.20. Purpose of property standards.


[Sections 34.21 through 34.25](/cfr/32/34.21..34.25.md) set forth uniform standards for management, use, and disposition of property. DoD Components shall encourage recipients to use existing property-management systems, to the extent that the systems meet these minimum requirements.
