# §26.105. Does this part apply to me?

- (a) **Portions of this part apply to you if you are either—**
  - (1) A recipient of an assistance award from the DOD Component; or
  - (2) **A(n) DOD Component awarding official.** (See definitions of award and recipient in §§ [26.605](/cfr/32/26.605.md) and [26.660](/cfr/32/26.660.md), respectively.)
