# §2402.11. Maintenance of statistics.

- (a) OSTP shall maintain records sufficient to allow accurate reporting of FOIA processing statistics, as required under [5 U.S.C. 552(e)](/usc/5/552.md?p=e) and all guidelines for the preparation of annual FOIA reports issued by the Department of Justice.
- (b) OSTP shall annually, on or before February 1 of each year, prepare and submit to the Attorney General an annual report compiling the statistics maintained in accordance with [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section for the previous fiscal year. A copy of the report will be available for public inspection on the OSTP website.
