# §22.700. Purpose.


This subpart prescribes policies and procedures for administering grants and cooperative agreements. It does so in conjunction with [32 CFR part 34](/cfr/32/part34.md) and subchapter D of [2 CFR chapter XI](/cfr/2/chXI.md), which prescribe administrative requirements for particular types of recipients.
