# §802.506. Determination not to undertake an investigation.


If the Committee determines, during the review period described in [§ 802.503](/cfr/31/802.503.md), not to undertake an investigation of a notified covered real estate transaction, action under [section 721](/cfr/31/721.md) shall be concluded. An official at the Department of the Treasury shall promptly inform the parties to a covered real estate transaction in writing of a determination of the Committee not to undertake an investigation and to conclude action under [section 721](/cfr/31/721.md).
