# §801.409. Penalties.

- (a) Any person who fails to comply with the requirements of [§ 801.401](/cfr/31/801.401.md) may be liable to the United States for a civil penalty not to exceed the value of the pilot program covered transaction.
- (b) The provisions of § [800.801(a)](/cfr/31/800.801.md?p=a), [(d)](/cfr/31/800.801.md?p=d), [(e)](/cfr/31/800.801.md?p=e), [(f)](/cfr/31/800.801.md?p=f), [(g)](/cfr/31/800.801.md?p=g), and [(h)](/cfr/31/800.801.md?p=h) shall apply to a declaration submitted to the Committee pursuant to [§ 801.401](/cfr/31/801.401.md).
