# §800.402. Voluntary declarations.


Except as otherwise prohibited under [§ 800.403(e)](/cfr/31/800.403.md?p=e), a party to any proposed or completed transaction may submit to the Committee a declaration regarding the transaction in accordance with the procedures and requirements set forth in §§ [800.403](/cfr/31/800.403.md) and [800.404](/cfr/31/800.404.md) instead of a written notice.
