# §598.313. Significant foreign narcotics trafficker.


The term significant foreign narcotics trafficker means any foreign person that plays a significant role in international narcotics trafficking that the President has determined to be appropriate for sanctions and has publicly identified under [section 804(b)](/cfr/31/804.md?p=b) or [section 804(h)(1)](/cfr/31/804.md?p=h-1) of the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act.
