# §594.320. Hizballah.


The term Hizballah means:

- (a) The entity known as Hizballah and designated by the Secretary of State as a foreign terrorist organization pursuant to [section 219](/cfr/31/219.md) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ([8 U.S.C. 1189](/usc/8/1189.md)); or
- (b) **Any person—**
  - (1) The property and interests in property of which are blocked pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act ([50 U.S.C. 1701](/usc/50/1701.md) et seq.); and
  - (2) Who is identified on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List) maintained by OFAC as an agent, instrumentality, or affiliate of Hizballah.
