# §544.302. Effective date.


The term effective date refers to the effective date of the applicable prohibitions and directives contained in this part as follows:

- (a) With respect to a person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to § [544.201(a)(1)](/cfr/31/544.201.md?p=a-1), [12](/cfr/31/12.md):01 a.m. eastern daylight time, June 29, 2005; and
- (b) With respect to a person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to § [544.201(a)(2)](/cfr/31/544.201.md?p=a-2), [(a)(3)](/cfr/31/544.201.md?p=a-3), or [(a)(4)](/cfr/31/544.201.md?p=a-4), the earlier of the date of actual or constructive notice of such person's designation.
