# §50.96. Insurer responsibility.


Notwithstanding [§ 50.4(o)](/cfr/31/50.4.md?p=o), for purposes of the collection, reporting and remittance of Federal terrorism policy surcharges to Treasury, the definition of insurer shall not include any affiliate of the insurer.
