# §405.1. Illustrations authorized.

- (a) Authority is hereby given to make, hold, dispose of, and use illustrations of U.S. savings bonds for publicity purposes in connection with the campaign for the sale of such bonds.
- (b) The making of any reproduction of a U.S. savings bond in any manner or any form is not permitted other than as provided in this part or pursuant to [title 18](/cfr/18.md), United States Code, [section 504](/cfr/31/504.md) ([18 U.S.C. 504](/usc/18/504.md)).
