# §885.21. What happens if I do not comply with applicable Federal law or the terms of my grant?


If you or your subgrantee materially fails to comply with an award, a reclamation plan, or a Federal statute or regulation, including statutes relating to nondiscrimination, we may take appropriate remedial actions. Enforcement actions and procedures must follow [43 CFR part 12](/cfr/43/part12.md).
