# §762.14. Applicability to lands designated as unsuitable by Congress.


Pursuant to appropriate petitions, lands listed in [§ 761.11](/cfr/30/761.11.md) of this chapter are subject to designation as unsuitable for all or certain types of surface coal mining operations under this part and parts [764](/cfr/30/part764.md) and [769](/cfr/30/part769.md) of this chapter.
