# §750.16. Performance standards.


After OSM issues a permit under this part, a person conducting surface coal mining operations on Indian lands shall do so in accordance with parts [816](/cfr/30/part816.md), [817](/cfr/30/part817.md), 819, 822, 823, 824, 827, and 828 of this chapter. Prior to that time, the person conducting surface coal mining and reclamation operations shall adhere to the performance standards of [30 CFR chapter VII](/cfr/30/chVII.md), subchapter B.
