# §706.21. Appeals procedures.


Employees have the right to appeal an order for remedial action under [§ 706.19](/cfr/30/706.19.md) and shall have 30 days to exercise this right before disciplinary action is initiated.

- (a) Office employees and other Department of the Interior employees may file their appeal, in writing, in accordance with the provisions in [43 CFR 20.735-25(b)](/cfr/43/20.735-25.md?p=b).
- (b) Employees of other Federal agencies may file their appeal, in writing, in accordance with the established procedures of their employing agency.
