# §585.236. If I have a limited lease, how long will my lease remain in effect?

- (a) **For limited leases, the lease periods are as shown in the following table—**
- (b) You may request an extension of any of the lease periods outlined in [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section for good cause. In its discretion, BOEM may approve your request.
