# §585.202. What types of leases will BOEM issue?


BOEM may issue commercial or limited leases for OCS activities under [§ 585.104](/cfr/30/585.104.md). BOEM may issue a lease for OCS renewable energy research activities under [§ 585.239](/cfr/30/585.239.md).
