# §580.32. What penalties may I be subject to?

- (a) **Penalties for noncompliance under a permit.** You are subject to the penalty provisions of section 24 of the Act ([43 U.S.C. 1350](/usc/43/1350.md)) and the procedures contained in [30 CFR part 550](/cfr/30/part550.md), [subpart N](/cfr/30/subpartN.md) for noncompliance with:
  - (1) Any provision of the Act;
  - (2) Any provisions of a G&G or drilling permit; or
  - (3) **Any regulation or order issued under the Act.**
- (b) **Penalties under other laws and regulations.** The penalties prescribed in this section are in addition to any other penalty imposed by any other law or regulation.
