# §870.54. Standards governing the granting of an application for exemption.


The Administrator may grant any application for the exemption of State-regulated garnishments whenever he finds that the laws of the State satisfy the policy expressed in [§ 870.51(a)](/cfr/29/870.51.md?p=a).
