# §503.40. Applicability of procedures and rules.

- (a) The procedures and rules contained in this subpart prescribe the administrative appeal process that will be applied with respect to a determination to assess civil money penalties, to debar, to enforce provisions of the job order or provisions under 8 U.S.C. [1184(c)](/usc/8/1184.md?p=c), [20](/usc/8/20.md) CFR [part 655](/cfr/29/part655.md), [subpart A](/cfr/29/subpartA.md), or the regulations in this part, or to the collection of monetary relief due as a result of any violation.
- (b) With respect to determinations as listed in [paragraph (a)](#a) involving provisions under [8 U.S.C. 1184(c)](/usc/8/1184.md?p=c), the procedures and rules contained in this subpart will apply regardless of the date of violation.
