# §4903.7. When will PBGC allow a debtor to pay a debt owed to PBGC in installments instead of a lump sum?


If a debtor is financially unable to pay the debt in a lump sum, PBGC may accept payment of a debt in regular installments, in accordance with the provisions of [31 CFR 901.8](/cfr/31/901.8.md).
