# §38.88. Director's Final Determination that no reasonable cause exists to believe that a violation has taken place.


If the Director determines that there is no reasonable cause to believe that a violation has taken place, the Director must issue a Final Determination under [§ 38.96](/cfr/29/38.96.md). The Final Determination represents the Department's final agency action on the complaint.
