# §1472.105. Does this part apply to me?

- (a) **Portions of this part apply to you if you are either—**
  - (1) A recipient of an assistance award from the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service; or
  - (2) **A(n) FMCS awarding official.** (See definitions of award and recipient in §§ [1472.605](/cfr/29/1472.605.md) and [1472.660](/cfr/29/1472.660.md), respectively.)
