# §102.162. Examination and copying of records related to the claim; opportunity for full explanation of the claim.


Following receipt of the demand letter specified in [§ 102.161](/cfr/29/102.161.md), and in conformity with Agency guidelines governing such requests, the debtor may request to examine and copy publicly available records pertaining to the debt, and may request a full explanation of the Agency's claim.
