# §90.14. Judicial notification requirement.

- (a) To be eligible for funding under this program, a State must meet the requirements of [42 U.S.C. 3796gg-4(e)](/usc/42/3796gg-4.md?p=e) with regard to judicial notification to domestic violence offenders of Federal prohibitions on their possession of a firearm or ammunition in 18 U.S.C. [922(g)(8)](/usc/18/922.md?p=g-8) and [(9)](/usc/18/922.md?p=g-9) and any applicable related Federal, State, or local laws..
- (b) A unit of local government shall not be eligible for subgrants from the State unless it complies with the requirements of [42 U.S.C. 3796gg-4(e)](/usc/42/3796gg-4.md?p=e) with respect to its judicial administrative policies and practices.
