# §527.42. Limitations on transfer of offenders to foreign countries.


The transfer treaties and conventions, as well as [18 U.S.C. 4100-4115](/usc/18/4100-4115.md), impose specific requirements that an inmate must satisfy in order to be returned to his or her country of citizenship or nationality.
