# §513.12. Inmate request for record clarification.


Where the inmate believes that his or her FBI identification record is incorrect or inaccurate, the inmate may follow procedures outlined in [28 CFR 16.34](/cfr/28/16.34.md). The procedures in [28 CFR 16.34](/cfr/28/16.34.md) also apply for the clarification of an inmate's NCIC/III record.
